City of Pittsburgh Department of Mobility & Infrastructure Site Tour
On June 15, 2023 at CMAA Three Rivers Chapter hosted a presentation from The City of Pittsburgh’s Department of Mobility and Infrastructure DOMI Deputy Director Jeff Skalican and a site tour with Project Manager Patty Kerns. The presentation included an overview of the work being done throughout the city, as well as upcoming construction projects over the next two years. The site tour included a visit to an active work zone; featuring a current traffic signal project with mast arms, LED traffic signal heads, new countdown pedestrian signals, and new audible push buttons. The tour also included insight into how the City is designing intersections for visually/hearing impaired pedestrians.
